Dr Julia Innis is a highly experienced and compassionate General Practitioner with a diverse and inspiring medical journey. She graduated in 1998 in Krasnodar and migrated to Australia in 2004, successfully completing her Australian Medical Council examinations in 2008.

Dr Innis began her medical career in Australia in 2009, working in the Emergency Department at Latrobe Regional Hospital for four years. She transitioned into General Practice in 2012 and has since gained extensive experience across both metropolitan after-hours services and rural practice in Morwell, where she worked for over five years.

Dr Innis is known for her caring approach and dedication to her patients, bringing both clinical expertise and genuine empathy to every consultation.

Beyond medicine, she has a strong passion for the arts and holds a Diploma in Art, reflecting her creativity and well-rounded outlook on life.

A breast cancer survivor, Dr Innis is a passionate advocate for women’s health and early detection, encouraging all women to prioritise regular screening and not delay important health checks.

In her personal time, Dr Innis enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their three children.

She is fluent in English and Russian, allowing her to provide inclusive care to a broader community.
