September 3, 2022Some of our practitioners have recently made changes to their individual billing practices.
Health Practitioners at St Mary Medical Centre are independent contractors.
Our practitioners have complete autonomy with regards to their individual billing practices.
Whilst some of our practitioners do offer a bulk billed service there are some that have recently switched to mixed billing.
All of our practitioners bulk bill ALL children under 16 years of age as well as ALL health care card and pension card holders.
If you do not fall within this category you may be charged a private fee, depending on the individual practitioner and their billing procedures.
You will be notified prior to your appointment of any fees and charges applicable to your appointment.
